Healthy Meals to Cook at Home - Italian Style Beans

GoLocalProv and Dave's Marketplace have teamed up to offer "Healthy Meals to Cook At Home." This series offers some of New England's best ideas for healthy cooking delicious meals, made from fresh, wholesome ingredients, in your own kitchen. This week's recipe; Italian Style Beans, is simple to prepare, makes for a great side dish, and is just as healthy as it is tasty.

 

Italian Style Beans

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound Cannellini Beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ teaspoon fresh Garlic, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon Italian (flat) Parsley, chopped
  • ½ tablespoon Parmesan Cheese, shredded
  • 3 tablespoons Sundried Tomatoes, julienne
  • 2 tablespoons Red Onions, diced
  • 5 tablespoons Sundried Tomatoe Dressing

Instructions:

  • Drain and rinse Beans.
  • Julliene Sundried Tomatoes
  • Chop Onions
  • Combine all ingredients. Add a Salt & Pepper to taste.
