If a California Pinot fought an Oregon Pinot, who would win? Find out this month at Fleming's 'Bottle Wars.' Photo: Fleming's Steakhouse.

It's not often you think of a wine tasting as a throw down of sorts, but Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar has news: this month is devoted to what they're calling "Bottle Wars."

As part of its annual "Month of Discovery," Fleming’s is rolling out this series of four unique wine tastings, matching up vintages from its well-known "Fleming's 100" collection. On a series of Friday evenings in September (7th, 14th, 21st and 28th), guests will taste premium wines from rival regions and wineries around the world in a spirit of friendly competition. Each event will offer 8 to 10 well-matched wines for just $25 and Fleming's professionally trained wine managers will guide guests through the experience.
