The dinner with feature Fontanafredda Estate & Winery, located in the heart of Piedmont's Langhe region, which has been a benchmark for Barolo and Barbera wines that deftly balance deep aromas and concentration of fruit with elegance.
Roberto Bruno, the General Manager of Fontanafredda, will be visiting from Italy to headline the event and share his firsthand knowledge of these incredible wines.
“This will be an evening to remember, and we’re very happy to have Mr. Bruno joining us from Italy to talk us through each paired wine and to experience some Rhode Island hospitality and great dining,” said Brian Thimme, owner and chef at Bluewater Grill.

The Brickyard Wine & Spirits Seasonal Wine Dinners have consistently offered an intimate evening of great food, select wines, and wonderful company, and have grown steadily in popularity since the opening of the store two years ago.
“We’re looking forward to an evening of great wine and excellent food. I’ve tasted these wines with the Chef and can’t wait to see what Brian creates for the evening’s menu. We’ve hosted dinners at his restaurant previously and he has managed to amaze our guests every time,” said Giovanni Cicione, owner of Brickyard Wine & Spirits.
