Trinity Rep is pleased to announce the return of last winter's premiere event: Red White & Blues, a casual evening featuring food, wine, and and dancing to The Silks, a local blues band. Red White & Blues 2 is co-chaired by Gil MacLean and his wife Michelle Collie, and sponsored by Bottles Fine Wine. The wine tasting will be complimented by delicious culinary offerings from several local restaurants.

Bordeaux Wine Dinner

In conjunction with Town Wine & Spirits, Chez Pascal will feature special wines from Chateau Angelus, St. Emillion, Bordeaux, and Jean-Bernard Grenie from the chateau will be in the house.
The menu promises delights from a cocoa nib and corn meal crusted crispy squid with grilled polenta and sauce vin rouge all the way to a pear custard gratin with blue cheese, sea salt and caramel. Each course is paired with a Bordeaux.

Pappy Van Winkle Bourbon Dinner

Okay, this isn't a winter event, but it will sell out so fast, you need to book it this winter and prepare. Julian Van Winkle III and Matt Jennings are collaborating on a 4-course dinner featuring tastings of special 12-, 15-, 20- and 23-year-old bourbons. Julian will be on hand to chat prior to the dinner, and guide the lucky few through the meal, along with Jennings.

Don't miss this inaugural event that is sure to put a bounce into the beginning of February. The Rhode Island Brew Fest presented by Narragansett Beer, is a celebration of American craft breweries. Look for 30+ breweries with over 100 styles of beer to sample from. The event will have two, three-hour sessions from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m and 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Each session will held in the beautiful, newly renovated Drill Hall and will feature live music throughout.
