Message: From GoLocalProv by Jack Andrade, GoLocalProv Sports Reporter: The University of Rhode Island Rams are 6-2. That may not seem overly significant, but for a program on the mend it’s a sign of progress. In fact, these Rams are over a month ahead of last year’s in terms of winning basketball games. URI didn’t get their 6th win last season until January 4th (they best Brown in that game). There was nothing easy about Tuesday’s win, however, as URI allowed a 21 point 2nd half lead slip down to 3 in the final 20 seconds, but held on by the skin of their teeth for a 76-71 point victory. http://www.golocalprov.comhttp://beta.golocalprov.com/rams-start-fast-limp-to-victory-over-mcneese-state
