From GoLocalProv by Josh Fenton:
On Wednesday afternoon, GoLocal first reported that Rhode Island Governor Gina Raimondo is tied to an enforcement action by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission for a “pay-to-play” scheme involving the private equity fund Oaktree Capital.
Oaktree admitted no guilt, but agreed to pay a $100,000 civil fine to the federal government.
