Message: From GoLocalProv by GoLocalProv News Staff and Kate Nagle: Brown University President Christina Paxson issued an official statement in light of the press conference and charges claimed by Brown University student, rape victim Lena Sclove. A GoLocalProv.com story today raises questions about whether colleges should be handling the investigation and punishments of rape cases. Sclove said that Brown did not follow its own policies. According to Paxson's statement the student accused of committing the rape will not be returning to Brown in the fall.
