Message: From GoLocalProv by GoLocalProv News Team: Two weeks after a poll by the National Organization for Marriage found that 78 percent of Rhode Island voters wanted to decide the issue of same-sex marriage at the polls, a new survey by Brown University has revealed that the vast majority of voters in the Ocean State are in favor of the hot-button social issue. A new statewide public opinion survey conducted by the Taubman Center for Public Policy at Brown University found that 60.4 percent of respondents favor granting the right to marry to gay and lesbian couples, a number nearly identical to a similar poll run by the university three years ago. http://www.golocalprov.comhttp://beta.golocalprov.com/new-brown-poll-says-most-ri-voters-support-same-sex-marriage
