Message: From GoLocalProv by GoLocalProv Primary Day Team: David Cicilline, Angel Taveras and Peter Kilmartin were all big winners in the Democratic primary held on Tuesday. Despite low turnout and a lack of excitement across the Democratic party, each of these winners fought through complex and competitive races. The win by Angel Taveras gives him a clear path to being Providence's first Hispanic Mayor. Taveras will face Independent Jonathan Scott in November. Providence Mayor Cicilline defeated three competitors to win the Democratic nod, but his 37% opens the door for John Loughlin of the GOP to make a claim that this seat is highly. http://www.golocalprov.comhttp://beta.golocalprov.com/breaking-news-ap-predicts-cicilline
