Message: From GoLocalProv by GoLocalProv Food Team: The Chanler, the award-winning Newport hotel, will host the latest edition of its Tasting Series program this Sunday from 1pm - 4pm at its Spiced Pear Restaurant. Similar to past tastings, the upcoming event involves liquor and wine experts from all over the world spending an afternoon eating, drinking and teaching with an intimate group of participants. Sunday's event, titled "Taste of Southeastern New England,” will include eight courses with eight wine pairings featuring wineries from Southeastern New England wineries and cuisine from The Chanler's Spiced Pear Executive Chef Thomas Duffy.
