Message: From GoLocalProv by Russell J. Moore, GoLocalProv MINDSETTER™: There was some stout competition, but this year’s first annual Scrooge award, presented by yours truly, goes to Cox Communications. With Christmas in just a couple days, it felt fitting to point out someone or an organization that failed to keep the Christmas spirit and disappointed the community in the process. Granted, that's no easy task, but this year there was no better choice than Cox Communications, which cancelled the telecast of a Toys For Tots drive. That move resulted in more children from low-income families receiving fewer, or, what’s worse, no presents from Santa this Christmas. http://www.golocalprov.comhttp://beta.golocalprov.com/russell-moore-this-years-scrooge-award-goes-to
