The Committee, formed by the Newport County Chamber of Commerce at the request of Newport City Manager Jane Howington, works to maintain open and effective communication between the City of Newport and the Newport business community. The Newport County Chamber of Commerce is the second largest chamber in the state with over 1,100 members representing over 50,000 employees.
