Message: From GoLocalProv by Anthony Faccenda, GoLocalProv News Contributor: This week’s State Report centers on the release of a new report which found startling instances of waste and fraud in Rhode Island’s social services benefits program. In light of the report, we’ll also examine new legislation that would establish a state Inspector General’s office tasked with rooting out government fraud, abuse, waste and mismanagement. Also on the docket this week is AG Kilmartin’s call for companies to stop doing business with Iran and the Senate’s passage of a tougher murder/parole bill. Lastly, we’ll look at new housing foreclosure statistics. Keep reading to find out whether foreclosures are on the rise or in decline. http://www.golocalprov.comhttp://beta.golocalprov.com/ri-state-report-snap-fraud-foreclosures-and-tougher-parole-laws
