Message: From GoLocalProv by Paul J. Spetrini and Jonathan Jacobs, GoLocalProv News Team: Thanks to policies that her office says “go above and beyond what is required to increase accountability and transparency,” Rhode Island General Treasurer Gina Raimondo has painted herself as a reform candidate ahead of what many speculate will be a run at the Governor’s office in 2014. According to her campaign finances through the end of last year, however, Raimondo has raised well over $1 million dollar and a number of her contributions come from employees working at companies that have either been found guilty of, charged with or investigated for violations with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over the last five years. The question is: does the label fit? http://www.golocalprov.comhttp://beta.golocalprov.com/raimondo-received-21k-from-employees-of-sec-violators
