From GoLocalProv.com by John Ghiorse, GoLocalProv Meteorologist:
The National Weather Service has upgraded the Blizzard Watch to a Blizzard Warning for most all of Southern New England. A Blizzard Warning means that we can expect sustained or frequent winds of 35 mph or higher with considerable falling and/or blowing snow that frequently reduces visibility to 1/4 of a mile or less. These conditions are expected to prevail for a minimum of 3 hours. In the case of this storm, we should have no problem exceeding those conditions for several hours Friday night and early Saturday.
