Business leaders from around Rhode Island join with a group of Central Falls business owners in a networking event designed to promote business and will include some interesting attendees.

Councilman James Diossa (Ward 4) has partnered with the Rhode Island Young Professionals and Navigant Credit Union to sponsor the City’s first business networking event.

This first of its kind business event will be held on October 12th, from 6:00-8:30pm at Navigant Credit Union (693 Broad Street, Central Falls). Scheduled to appear at the event are General Treasurer Gina Raimondo and Navigant Credit Union President and CEO, Gary Furtado.

“We have so many great small business success stories in Central Falls,” said Councilman Diossa. “This event will bring many people from outside of the city to network with leaders in our Central Falls community and inspired students to share their stories, challenges, and ideas for making Central Falls a more friendly and inviting place to visit and do business.”

“In my nearly 5 years of active involvement with the Rhode Island Young Professionals we have never done any personal and professional development, community service, or networking social events in Central Falls. As we try to have a positive and influential impact on every city and town’s community in our great state, this networking event in Central Falls is long overdue,” said Tuoc B. Dao, Rhode Island Young Professionals President.
