Washington Trust Declares a Dividend

You need to love a stock that pays a dividend.  Westerly-based Washington Trust has announced a dividend payment in early 2011.

The Board of Washington Trust Bancorp, Inc., (NASDAQ: WASH), parent company of The Washington Trust Company have announced a quarter dividend of 21 cents per share for the 4th quarter of 2010.

The dividend will be paid on January 14, 2011 to shareholders of record on January 4, 2011.
