Vacation Close to Home: Summer Rentals for Every Budget

Saturday, May 29, 2010

Summer means vacation time for many and, in Rhode Island, it's easy to take a week long get-away without having to board a plane. Renting a summer cottage or a big, family-sized house on the beach is the perfect way to enjoy summer vacation close to home.

Rental rates range in price from around $700 for a week in a small cottage to several thousand dollars a week for a beach-front home. Remember, it's not the size of the home, but the fun that you have "beaching it" Rhode Island-style and relaxing in your home away from home.
