Today in America, few things are more discussed than the salaries of top CEOs. GoLocal looks at some recently released data of the top paid CEOs in America.

New England had its fair share of top paid CEOs, but they paled in comparison to the number one ranked — Expedia’s Dara Khosrowshahi took in $94.6 million in 2015.

One Presidential candidate rallies against the high pay of CEO’s in comparison to their workers.
"The average chief executive in America now makes nearly 300 times more than the average worker – and the gap between the people at the top and working families is growing wider and wider. I hope that shining a spotlight on the disparity will help working families,” said Bernie Sanders.
In contrast, the GOP’s presumptive Presidential candidate Donald Trump has an estimated net worth of $8 to $10 billion. In 2011 in an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America," Trump said, "Part of the beauty of me is that I am very rich."
