The campaign integrates traditional media relations with digital and social media efforts. “We are excited to be working with the public relations team at Staples to help promote the company as a destination for great savings on technology and other holiday gifts,” said Annette Maggiacomo, vice president of public relations at Duffy & Shanley. “From print to broadcast to blogs, Duffy & Shanley is bringing our expertise and relationships to the table to help keep Staples top of mind during the crowded holiday season.”

Duffy & Shanley has worked with Staples over the past two years  on its holiday marketing and public relations efforts. In 2008, Duffy & Shanley executed a targeted marketing campaign for Staples’ holiday sweepstakes initiative, including PR and social media efforts. As a result of its demonstrated capabilities in this space, Duffy & Shanley was tapped in 2009 for Staples’ entire public relations holiday campaign. The agency executed an award-winning program that netted more than one billion media impressions.
