Seven Swords Media Selected for New HP and Google Technology Pilot

Tuesday, December 10, 2013

Seven Swords Media, one of America's fastest growing companies according to Inc. magazine, announced the integration of a new package of HP hardware and Google applications not yet available, as part of a pilot project partnership.

HP SMB IT in a Box, the latest collaboration between HP and Google and is a “one-stop shop” solution specifically targeted at the small and medium business (SMB) market. The new packaged offering combines HP’s personal computers, printers, management console, administration and customer support with Google Apps for Business—a suite of cloud-based, team productivity tools that includes Gmail, Google Calendar, IM, and Google Drive.

“With our partnership with Google, we’re ensuring the success of the business community,” said Billy Nerenberg, HP Global Director of Go-To-Market Strategy. “SMB IT in a Box is the next evolution of cloud-based IT solutions and presents an innovative opportunity for small and medium enterprises to save time, money, and hassles.”

With the new bundle of HP hardware and Google Apps for Business, Seven Swords Media expects to strengthen its competitive advantage from reduced operating costs and infrastructure requirements, in addition to improved workflows and workforce productivity.

“Alignment between IT—the backbone that helps Seven Swords Media operate—and the rest of our business is critical, which is why we are excited to test-drive this new solution and move to the cloud,” said Seven Swords Media CEO Antonio Lopes. “The business world is changing, and we recognize the importance of adapting and learning to embrace new technology as a means of improving our capabilities.”

This year, Seven Swords Media ranked as the 386th fastest growing private company in America in Inc. magazine’s Inc. 500 list. The integration of HP SMB IT in a Box enables the flourishing company to further its success by focusing on what matters most—its business and clients—according to Dan Mercer, Seven Swords Media Vice President of Operations.

“We’re currently in the process of learning and fully adopting the new technology into our daily operations,” said Mercer, who added that the new product has already increased operational efficiency and enhanced Seven Swords Media’s collaborative culture. “This new technology has simplified teamwork on projects, renewing that sense of community within our company that has been instrumental to our success.”

“Our plan is to help build a great experience for our clients and enable them to take advantage of this solution that brings value to us,” said Michael Mota, Seven Swords Media Vice President of Business Development. “This is part of our ongoing commitment to elevate our clients’ work while creating new channels for collaboration.”
