Tyson C. Reed has joined WhaleRock Point as a Partner.

Experience
Most recently, Reed was Managing Director at J.P. Morgan. Prior to that, he was Managing Director at U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management, where he served as a Private Client Advisor.

Reed earned a B.A. in Communications and Economics at Villanova University.
Reed currently has numerous professional securities licenses including Series 7, 66, and 63, and has completed various executive education courses, including Chartered Trust Financial Analyst (Level I) and the Foundations of Investment Management program at Stanford University.
Community work
Reed serves on the Board of Overseers at Newton-Wellesley Hospital; is a past Trustee of the Providence Preservation Society; is an Executive Committee member of the President’s Leadership Council and Chairs the New England Region Capital Campaign for Villanova University; Past member of the Rhode Island Estate Planning Council and current member of the Boston Estate Planning Council; is on the Annual Fund Leadership Committee at St. Sebastian’s School; and Gala Chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport County.
Reed resides with his wife Kristin and their three children at their homes in Westwood, Massachusetts and Newport, Rhode Island.
