Forbes Named to National Board

Daniel Forbes has been appointed by the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Board of Standards, Inc. to serve as a Board Ambassador in Providence. Forbes will represent the CFP Board with local media, policymakers and community organizations. Forbes is a contributor to GoLocalProv's Business/Real Estate Channel.

“Our CFP Board Ambassadors serve a critical role in educating the public on how competent, ethical financial planning can increase the quality of life for all Americans and help them to achieve their life goals,” said CFP Board Chief Executive Officer Kevin R. Keller. 

There are now 27 CFP Board Ambassadors nationwide. According to the Board, Forbes – a Certified Financial Planner professional – was appointed for his “demonstrated leadership skills, passion for financial planning, and belief in CFP Board’s mission to serve the public."

“I’m very excited to serve as a CFP Board Ambassador where I will be able to use my experience and expertise as a CFP professional to help my community, providing information and insights on how financial planning can improve people’s lives,” Forbes said.
