The City of Providence not only has trendy blocks to explore but also has a vibrant and thriving arts community. This artistic culture may partly be from the creativity of RISD, the fine arts and design college on the base of College Hill. This summer, the Gelman Student Exhibitions Gallery features an New Contemporaries selected works from the class of 2013 Exhibition curated by the gallery’s Director of Exhibition Mark Moscone. On this rainy Providence day, GoLocalProv had the chance to capture the artsy paintings, photography, and designs of the school’s recent graduating class. Stay dry from the rain and check out the exhibition or before the summer ends!
