Betaspring Kicks Off New Group of Companies
Monday, October 01, 2012
Last Thursday, on the 3rd floor of the Russell Irons Building on 95 Chestnut Street in Providence, an array of talent, cutting-edge entrepreneurs and revolutionary minds gathered at Betaspring's Fall 2012 Open House. The startup accelerator supports technology and design entrepreneurs who are ready to grow their companies and invigorate their industries. It was a prime showcase of what Betaspring supports and nurtures.
The networking extravaganza featured speaking from Betaspring co-founder Allen Tear, Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse, Congressman David Cicilline and Governor Lincoln Chafee along with 30-second pitches from each of the startup companies being showcased. Everyone who was in the room were excited to see what each startup had to offer, peeking through each office and sparking up conversation. The following is a look at a number of the latest crop of companies.
