One RI agency bidding on the state tourism account is not waiting around. They have designed the creative and are launching an ad campaign promoting RI.
Whatever You Do. . . Rhode Island™ is the campaign designed by ATOM Media Group (AMG) for the Rhode Island Commerce Corporation’s request to create
“compelling outreach, design, branding, marketing, and advertising campaigns that rebrand our state and promote it effectively and memorably as a place to visit, live, work, or start a business," said Michael Mota, CEO of the firm.
Agencies looking to win the state's $5 million RFP for the tourism account needed to submit their bids last Friday. It is known if RI's largest agencies, Add Ventures, RDW Group, Nail, and Duffy and Shanley submitted bids.

ATOM has promised only to be compensated by a media fee if the account is awarded and will direct the $5 million in state funds to a national buy. The firm says it will help to raise funds in RI to promote the message in the state.
According to Michael Mota, CEO of Rhode Island-‐based AMG, “Whatever You Do … Rhode Island™ represents a radical departure from typical campaigns previously undertaken not only here, but in every other state in the union as well. In the most meaningful way imaginable, this campaign will be made possible not only for Rhode Islanders, but by Rhode Islanders and others.”
