Agency Finalist for RI Tourism Account Wins Top Award for Montana Tourism Ads

Fuseideas, an advertising agency with offices in Boston and Providence which was one of the five finalists for the RI state tourism account last October won a top award for the Outstanding Tourism Campaign of the Year for their work on Visit Big Sky in Montana.
One of the leading tourism and destination marketing firms in the United State, Fuseideas was tasked with a year-over-year (“YoY”) increase in online and offline actions for the 2015 Visit Big Sky visitation season. This included: website sessions/engagement, email sign-ups, lodging tax, as well as visitor center foot traffic.
The firm lost out to serve as a agency for the scrapped Rhode Island tourism account is also one of the State of Rhode Island’s approved media contractors. FuseIdeas that is a leading tourism agency lost out to Milton Glazer who designed the logo and developed the tagline "cooler and warmer" and Havas which developed the state tourism video with images of Iceland.

For online results, Big Sky’s website (visitbigskymt.com) saw an 18% YoY increase in website sessions between June and September 2015. Between June and September 2015, Big Sky received about a 300% YoY increase in Visitor Guide requests. As for offline activity, Big Sky collected a record-breaking amount of lodging tax during Q3 (July-Sept) of 2015, and a 20% increase from the same period in 2014. The Big Sky & Greater Yellowstone Welcome Center also saw a 73% increase in YoY visitor foot traffic from May 1 through September 30.
