There's holiday shopping, and then there is holiday shopping. The Vanderbilt Grace, one of Newport's most luxurious destinations, is rolling out a very special shopping getaway for the holiday season--the Vintage Vanderbilt Shopping Escape.

The package, which begins with overnight accommodations at the hotel and includes lunch at the Grace's Conservatory restaurant, revolves around a fully customizeable shopping trip among some of Newport's best shopping haunts--particularly those along storied Bellevue Avenue.

An added benefit: each trip's personal guide is none other than Newport's shopping expert, Andrea McHugh from Newportstylephile.com.

McHugh will take guests on a one-hour personalized shopping tour of Bellevue Avenue where guests will can enjoy looking for vintage finds or that perfect holiday gift. For those who prefer to shop on their own, Andrea will create a personalized shopping itinerary during a champagne consultation at Vanderbilt Grace.

Bellevue Avenue

One of the most iconic avenues in Newport, Bellevue has seen shoppers from the Gilded Age elite through Jackie O, not to mention billionaires dropping in from their yachts. Bellevue features retailers from high-end boutiques with classic Newport style, to European designer ateliers, to gourmet food, wine, and chocolate purveyors.

And to top it off, the Shopping Escape Package includes complimentary car service, a pedicure with any spa service booked at the Vanderbilt's Spa, and two cocktails at the Vanderbilt's bar for a post-shopping celebration. The full package is $688 per night.

For more information, go here.

The Vanderbilt Grace Hotel, 41 Mary St, Newport, RI (401) 846-6200.
