Trend: higher than last year

The newest trend in pony tail looks is this: pull it all back a little higher than last season's look, leaving a bit of your own hair loose from base of pony to wrap around it. When done, secure with a hair tie, then wrap loose piece around hair tie and pin in place.

The finish: take a large hot iron and just curl ends of hair in three peices then brush through.

New: the pony tail veil

This is a great pony for going out for dinner or drinks. Tease the top of your tresses, then brush hair lightly to create volume right up front. Next, bring your pony high up on the head and tie off. A variation: shop around for great clip to secure your hair up... this adds drama for your event.

The finish: iron hair with slight bend to the ends for added glamour.
