This year, it's all about living your life like it's golden. No matter what your color (natural or "inspired"), add some gold tones.
What's right for you?
If you're growing out that over-processed summer blonde, remember that the best approach is to add a little golden brown to those dark blondes. For brunettes, there are indeed some gold tones for you dark-haired ladies. And red and a little gold seems toasty to me.
So get on board with your stylist and remember: not all skin tones can carry gold tones so close to the skin, so set the golden highlights back from your face if necessary.
Your stylist should know how to configure this look for you; if not, then maybe a second opinion is needed!
From Sex and the City 2 to Rachel Getting Married, from The Sorcerer's Apprentice to Bride Wars, Frank Barbosa has styled some of the biggest celebrities in film, TV, and theater. He's been in the industry for 17 years, moving from hip neighborhoods in Chicago, to Boston's Newbury St, to Bellevue Avenue in Newport. He maintains that his real passion, though, is being behind a salon chair.
