This year, the top knot has finally caught on--off last years runways and into the Main Street media and magazine looks, You want it to look effortless and lived-in; not too pulled and dramatic.

This is definitely the 5 minute 'do' when running from the office to your party.

Here is the breakdown on how to achieve the look in 3 easy steps:

1) Turn your head upside-down and gather hair into a top ponytail. Then secure with a hair band, making sure not to pull the ponytail completely through on your last wrap of hair band,

2) Use hair pins at to form into the shape you like , then use a tail comb to lift at the hair line to soften look.

3) Lastly, spray with light hold flexible hairspray.

He's styled on location alongside film stylist Alan D'Angerio on the film, The Odd Life of Timothy Green, starring Jennifer Garner. He's been in the industry for 17 years, moving from hip neighborhoods in Chicago, to Boston's Newbury St, to Bellevue Avenue in Newport. He maintains that his real passion, though, is being behind a salon chair at Frank Antonio Hair and Makeup in Newport.

Tokyo

Enn Sushi

Get inventive at Enn Sushi with their monthly Roll Contest; if your roll wins, it’s named after you and gets a spot on the menu for a month and you get a $50 gift card. Tokyo House

Head on down to Newport to visit Tokyo House for a hibachi and sushi combination. Sit at a hibachi table and order a side of sushi, or vice versa. Be sure to order the tasty Kado roll with shrimp tempura and crab topped with avocado slices and spicy mayo. Toyko House periodically posts coupons to their website, so check in frequently. With a prime location in Newport, Salve and RWU students have to stop in to Tokyo House.

Mt. Fuji

Located on the edge of Federal Hill, Mt. Fuji offers a fun atmosphere with an elaborate dining room and great food. Sit at a huge hibachi table and enjoy tender filet with fried rice and veggies, or get a table in the normal dining room and feast on fabulous sushi. Pair the two experiences together; sit at a hibachi table and order sushi as an appetizer. Try the Mt. Fuji roll with tempura lobster or sit at the light up bar with 45 seats and order the Mt. Nami

Located right on Federal Hill, Nami couples a trendy décor with great sushi and hibachi available. During the summer months, enjoy an open-air environment as Nami opens its windows to Federal Hill passersby. Order the Tuna Pancake appetizer topped with guacamole and spicy mayo for a different twist on Tuna Tartar, or the Firecracker roll with shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, and green apple. Brown students looking for a local sushi spot within walking distance of campus should look no further than Shanghai. Order the Roll Special with soup or salad and your choice of any two or three rolls. The ginger salad dressing is the best around, and the Godzilla Roll has shrimp on the inside and salmon on the outside. Yum.
