Spas have traditionally been places for adults, but many have increasingly sought out a younger set – according to the International Spa Association, 4 million teens have visited a spa, which has encouraged resorts to offer teen-targeted programs. The newly reopened Spa at the Providence Biltmore is one of these. With a range of treatments for all ages (and a beautiful salon), The Spa at the Biltmore is the perfect one-stop shop for summer beauty for teens (and tweens).

Treatments for preteens

A unique part of The Spa at the Biltmore is a new line of treatments for girls specifically under 13, called the “Princess” menu. The sessions are a youth-friendly 25 minutes, and the prices match. What girl wouldn't jump at one of these services, including a Cinderella manicure ($20), a Twinkle Toes pedicure ($40), the Fairytale facial ($50) and more. A perfect gift for a daughter, goddaughter, niece, granddaughter, or that young babysitter who's been great all summer!

Teens need care, too

If you’re a little older (but not old enough to require the spa’s anti-aging treatments), there are still amazing options to try. A must is the Pure Fiji Hydrating Body Scrub. Relax as raw cane sugar from the plantations of Fiji is massaged into your skin with coconut milk, eliminating dullness and leaving you with a warm glow. Another is the Signature Facial, a 50-minute customized facial that will cleanse, exfoliate, and rejuvenate your look. In addition, all skincare products used at The Spa are from global fair trade farmers – always sustainable, always organic, and always refreshing. These kinds of treatments reinforce great healthy messages about skin and body care and support good ethical products. That's a trend worth maintaining right into adulthood (not to mention the perfect end-of-summer primp-up for a young woman heading off to college).
